Even though the Hays Larks officially started in 1946 their history goes back as early as the late 1800’s. Starting out has the Hays Town Team then changing their name to the Hays Larks in 1946.  Read more on our history page!

... Lee was picked co-offensive player of the year. Divis was named co-pitcher of the year. Cavanagh was named defensive player of the year. Also, Valley Center second baseman Grant Lung, who joined the Larks for postseason, was picked to the second team. Hays finished 34-12.
